On Friday, October 16, 2020, Eerie River Publishing did a live U-Tube broadcast officially releasing their anthology, It Calls from the Sky. I had the honor of being one of four authors invited to participate in this release.
The broadcast started with some technical difficulties. My computer camera and microphone did not work and I had to scramble to steal my daughter’s ten-year-old laptop and log on a few minutes late. The publisher had a few snafus as well, causing the live feed to begin about 30 minutes later than originally planned.
In addition, one of the four authors was unable to appear at the last minute. Not normally a big deal, but this was the author of the short story we were reading that night, so their absence was felt.
Despite the rocky start, it was an awesome experience and we had a lot of fun. I got to know Eerie River’s publisher, Michelle River, as well as making two new author friends in Rebecca Gomez Farrell and Jay Sandlin.
If you would like to view the broadcast (recorded, not live of course) you can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/EerieYoutube. I hope you check it out.
